I married my (current) wife in the same spring as the fiasco with my father-in-law's greenhouse (as described in the previous issue). Although I don't remember, it seems quite a short time between asking, getting his approval, and marrying the daughter. Perhaps I didn't want anyone to change their mind.Looking through some old photos (whilst my current team worked hard in the rain earlier this week) I found a couple of our honeymoon, which gave the impression we spent it standing in the rain on a derelict piece of waste ground in the middle of nowhere. Odd, because I have fond memories of two days in Cornwall.
