Long-term storage of lamb's lettuce seeds at -20deg C

A study showed that seeds of lamb's lettuce [Valerianella locusta], vacuum-packed and stored at -20deg C for 14 years, had a germination capacity of 72%. The initial germination capacity was 80%, it decreased to 72% after 5 years and remained constantfor the next 9 years.
