Incoming Presidential Address and New 2011 AOFAS Board of Directors.

After her installation as President at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society in Keystone, Colorado, on July 15, 2011, Judith F. Baumhauer, MD, MPH gave the following address:I am truly honored and humbled to help lead this great Society.This message could be taken from the Dr. Seuss Foot Book: "In the house and on the street, how many different feet you meet." I have big shoes to fill; those of prior AOFAS leaders and mentors, and the supportive people who have provided me with opportunities to make an impact on our organization, its members, and most importantly, our patients.
