The paper entitled "The recovery of illicit drugs from oral fluid sampling devices" by Dickson et al. in its Abstract states that only the Cozart collection device (for oral fluid) gave acceptable recovery of THC from drug-spiked oral fluid .The devices from Immunalysis Corporation which Dr. Dickson's group used in their study were acquired approximately 2 years ago, and the buffer itself has not been in commercial distribution since November 2004. Subsequently, Immunalysis Corporation has changed the transportation buffer, and it has been extensively characterized for drug recovery (including THC) both in-house and by an independent research group .
