Gourmet Traveller describes MoVida as "the best Spanish restaurant in the country", while renowned restaurant writer John Lethlean, proclaims the food there is as good as any he can remember. This year, The Age Good Food Guide has awarded MoVida's "Gecina" its inaugural Dish of the Year award, as well as rating MoVida one hat. It's the type of coverage that money just can't buy. So what is Frank Camorra's secret? Certainly, one key to his success is his passion for all things Spanish. Camorra, who was born in Barcelona and spent the first five years of his life in Cordoba in Andalusia before his parents migrated to Australia, says his passion for Spain was first ignited seven years ago while working in a tapas bar in the Pyrenees.
