Prototype Device Used on Weld Blanket Swatches

Using a prototype device,Tex-Tech Industries,Inc.has produced low-cost and low-volume sample swatches of a weld blanket for protecting automobile components or industrial equipment from molten metal spatter.The use of a prototyping device enables multiple trial and error runs,without excess cost and undue burden at the mill,according to Eric D.Ritter,manager of ballistics and safety.The device achieves this by reducing the sample size of the fabric produced.
