Study on the Morphology and Tribological Properties of Acrylic Based Polyurethane/ Fumed Silica Composite Coatings

摘要

Two fumed silicas,one hydrophilic and one hydrophobic,were incorporated in high solids acrylic-based PL) coatings by direct mixing.The dispersion of fumed silica particles in the bulk of PU coatings was characterised by TEM and the surface morphology was examined by scanning probe microscopy.
