China is the world's largest market for polyethylene film.It is already a market greater in size than the USA or Western Europe as a whole,involving more than 10,000 converters with an estimated capacity of more than 11 million tonnes in 2004.The industry is rapidly growing and evolving.In the space of 15 years it has developed from a relatively unsophisticated one of just over 1 million tonnes to a business producing over 7.3 million tonnes of film product.
