Gazprom Neft secures patent protection for technological innovations in oil refining

Since the start of 2016, Gazprom Neft has obtained 13 further patents regarding technological innovations in oil refining. The company has 31 patents while 19 are under review by the Russian patent authority Rospatent. Throughout 2016, the firm continues its national project to further expand the catalyst production at its Omsk Refinery as well as joining partnership with scientific institutions like Boreskov Institute of Catalysis (Novosibirsk) and Institute for Problems of Hydrocarbon Refining (Omsk) to take on research and development activities.
