DAP market at a standstill,Oakley loading river barges for export

Another week of a very slow international DAP market coupled with a very sluggish US domestic market has caused traders and distributors to become very nervous with their barge positions.It is reported that Oakley will load most of their barges on a vessel in the river on September 22.The vessel is destined for the Argentina/Uruguay market.Ameropa has sold about 10,000t off a vessel that is enroute to the Argentina/Uruguay market.Nidera is rumoured to have purchased 5,000t for their distribution and another 5,000t was sold in the Uruguay market.Conagra has been trying to sell a 16,000t cargo that is expected to load at the CF dock before the end of the month and prior to CF joining Phoschem.Phoschem reports a 12,000t DAP sale for shipment in early October.This was sold at 260 fob and the destination was not disclosed.
