CHINA: Spot prices are starting to reflect the level of recent FOB sales in the Middle East, with an unconfirmed deal reported at $160/mt CFR China this week. This is substantially higher than price ideas heard last week, which did not exceed $130/mt CFR. However, the RCF award on Monday at $133.75/mt CFR India for crushed lump sulphur is likely to have boosted market sentiment considerably.
