MOP ship in collision off NW Denmark

A HONG KONG flagged vessel carrying a cargo of potash collided with a German container ship off northwestern Denmark early Monday morning. No one was reported injured in the accident which occurred some 320 kilometres north of Copenhagen at around 6.18 hours local time. The Chinese-owned vessel, Cleantec, built in 2009, is understood to have sustained a seven-metre crack in its hull, while the German ship had only minor damage.
