India: Potash imports up in July, down in fertilizer year

India imported 631,000 mt potash in July, an increase on 487,000 mt in the same month last year, according to FAI data. However, total imports between April and July remain down roughly 200,000 mt at 1.3 million mt with April-June shipments down 300,000 mt during negotiations over new contracts to the region and the strike at ICL's Dead Sea Works.
