Stirol reports lift in profits

UKRAINIAN FERTILIZER group Stirol reported that 2007 sales rose by 18.6% over the previous year. The group, which does not report in the more transparent International Financial Reporting Standards, published sparse details of its performance, despite being listed on the Ukrainian stock exchange.
