Indonesia: Jordanian rock imports rise with higher phosacid output

GTIS data show a marked increase in the volume of Jordanian imported phosphate rock arriving into Indonesia over the past year. This reflects the larger volumes needed to feed the new 200,000 mt/year P2O5 Petro-Abadi acid plant that came onstream mid-2014, a joint venture between JPMC and PT Gresik and supplied with Jordanian rock. As such Jordanian imports reached a high of 685,000 mt last year against a five-year average of 500,000 mt/year.
