News from Pakistan this week about continuing reductions in urea availability as a result of natural gas supply cuts added further optimism of forward strength in urea prices. The significantly reduced output from indigenous urea units could result in a 1.25 million mt import requirement through Q2 2012, with a possible 850,000 mt required for 2011 on top of the 150,000 mt to be tendered for August 21 by TCP.
