India's contract deals take centre stage again

Indian buyers continue to agree contracts at the newlyestablished benchmark of $612/mt CFR. This week hasseen confirmation on additional supply contracts. Russia'sPhosAgro has agreed with IPL/IFFCO and Jordan's JPMCwith IPL at similar terms as seen for other 2011/12agreements, that is over a six-month shipping window. ThePhosAgro contract calls for 500,000 mt DAP and JPMC'stotals 250,000 mt, both for shipment through September.Contract pricing is to be renegotiated for October-March2012 deliveries.
