摘要

Properties of ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) host/chiral guest systems have been studied. The achiral smectic C systems, namely, the eutectic mixtures ofphenylbenzoate derivatives and of three isomeric bis-laterally fluorinated dialkylterphenyls were used as the host materials. Dependencies of the dTi/dC on molecule structures of the components as well as concentration and temperature dependencies of main ferroelectric parameters (the spontaneous polarization, P_s, the smectic tilt angle, theta, the rotational viscosity, gamma_(phi)) of the induced FLC were studied and discussed.
