digestarom~(R) Research Highlights the benefits of a standardised phytogenic digestibility enhancer

This spring MICRO-PLUS celebrated its 25th anniversary. Today the business manufactures innovative phytogenic (planf-based) digestibility enhancers based mainly on essential oils which are sold in countries all over the world under the brand name digestarom~(R). Such plant-derived feed additives are classified in the category "sensory additives" as "flavouring compounds". Essential oils are very complex mixtures of compounds and their compositions can be variable. Single essential oils can vary dramatically in the concentrations of active ingredients depending on plant species, time of harvest etc. digestarom~(R) is a highly sophisticated range of phytogenic products typically containing 40 to 80 different essential oils and plant extracts which often represents a couple of hundred single compounds.
