CRL Adds Belt Sander and Silicone Sealant

The latest addition to CR Laurence's wet abrasive belt sanding line is the GL4W 4-inch X 106-inch upright belt sander. This unit is intended as a rugged glass working machine, carefully machined and balanced for smooth operation, for use in production shops. Manufactured to precision tolerances, it is built for high volume usage with very little maintenance. It is powered by a t HP, 115/230 volt, 3450 RPM single-phase industrial motor, ample for high production sanding needs.The GL4W has five built-in rollers at the front of the water tank to act as a rest for the glass while sanding. A built-in water spray system removes all harmful glass dust particles before they can become airborne. An electro-mechanical Solenoid automatically activates the spray system when the machine is turned on. Belt tension and tracking is maintained by an upper bracket assembly that allows the sanding belt to run dead center on two massive steel pulleys.
