Canadian ReOner Updates Biofuels Timeline

A new biofuels plant in Canada will be operational in the middle of 2022. Earlier this year, Cresta Fund Management purchased the beleaguered Come-by-Chance reOnery in Newfoundland and announced it would convert the facility to produce renewable fuels such as renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). On Tuesday, Cresta announced the transaction has closed and that it will rename the reOnery Braya Renewable Fuels.
