摘要

The dissolution of gypsum under water-saturated and unsaturated conditions was studied using batch and column experiments. The experimental results were successfully verified with the use of model calculations. The column experiments were performed with a water flow velocity of 0.015aEuro dagger cm/h. Comparing the dissolution experiments, we conclude that under unsaturated conditions only 2.2aEuro dagger% of the grain surface is chemically reactive. Experiments and calculations show that gypsum dissolution in the columns is mainly determined by the Darcian velocity.
