TFI/FIRT Conference sees record attendance; corn acres expected up in 2012, but will that lead to oversupply?

The 2011 Fertilizer Outlook and Technology Conference held Nov. 15-17 in St. Petersburg, Fla., saw another record year of attendance. This year it was up some 37 percent, to over 280 from the 204 who attended the year ago meeting in Savannah, Ga. Industry organizers - The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) and the Fertilizer Industry Round Table (FIRT) - put together some 20 broad-ranging presentations and a reception at St. Petersburg's popuiar Dali Museum.
