Effects of smoother traffic flow on reducing greenhouse gases

摘要

Traffic flow improvement is one of the effective measures in reducing greenhouse gases. This paper presents the results of improvements, such as road network maintenance, optimization of traffic signal control and introduction of ETC, and describes studies of the effectiveness in smoothing traffic flow.
