New ICG awardees 2010 were announced

During the ICG congress 2010 at Salvador da Bahia, Brazil the ICG presented four awards for advancement of glass science and technology.The Weyl Award was awarded to Dr. John Mauro of the Science and Technology Division, Corning Incorporated, Corning, N. Y. Mauro was recognized for his world-wide expertise in the modelling and character-ization of the relaxation behaviour of glass.
