Explorer of the Year: Ramelius/Ripper grades at Wattle Dam

One of the reasons for this was probably the announcement that managing director Joe Houldsworth released on August 24 featuring the dreamlike gold grades returned during extensional drilling near the producing Wattle Dam operation. The results included gold grades of 6.8kg (217oz) per tonne and 3.7kg (118oz) per tonne as well as intersections of several hundred grams per tonne. Just 25km west of Kambalda in Western Australia, Wattle Dam is part of the company's Spargoville Belt regional project area.
