Sweden’s Alfa Laval has won a SEK 90-million (US$13.8-million) contract to supply compact heat exchangers for a nuclear-power plant in Russia, the company announced January 3. Russia’s Energy and Environment regulator booked the order in late December, the announcement noted. The project is scheduled to this year and be completed in 2016. Alfa Laval said the heat exchangers will ensure the nuclear plant operates reliably and form part of the facility’s safety system for cooling the plant’s reactor units
