Russia: January urea exports catching up

Exporters of urea in Russia shipped 251,000 mt in January 2016, up from 135,000 mt in January 2015, but not yet at the 282,000 mt level recorded in January 2014. EuroChem shipments of 54,000 mt with documents issued to its Swiss headquarters were registered as exported to Switzerland. This renders identification of actual destinations for that tonnage difficult, but exports registered to Brazil were nevertheless up by 24 to 38,000 mt.
