Woodfibre, BC sign LOI for small-scale LNG project

Woodfibre, looking to build a 2.1 mtpa LNG plant in Squamish, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the province of British Colombia outlining the pair’s commitment to secure investment for the proposed plant. In the letter released last week, Woodfibre has requested that BC provide certainty about costs as the local government has control of this; in return, BC has requested that Woodfibre continues to work towards taking FID on the proposed project.
