FYI Resources in Laos JV potash negotiations

Potash hopeful FYI Resources of Australia agreed to start joint venture (JV) negotiations with China’s Yuntianhua Group over future potash production in Laos, according to Mining Weekly. The JV negotiations will centre on resource development and potential production at the Sino-Lao potash project, FYI Resources told shareholders on April 6. The Sino-Lao project reportedly has an established 60,000 mt/year processing facility as well as significant underground mine development and supporting infrastructure.
