The 1 st International Sitgas takes place in Naples, Italy from November 14-17 2001, and will give participants the opportunity of discussing the new scenario as regards the global energy and gas picture. The meeting is organised by ATIG (Association of Italian Gas Technicians) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Trade and is considered to be one of the most important events taking place in Italy and in the Mediterranean area in 2001 for operators in the gas industry and in the energy field. The combined show-conference includes a large Exhibition and many interesting events focusing on a wide variety of topics. Delegates/exhibitors from France, UK, Spain, Russia, Japan, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Qatar are expected. A sub-title of the event, "From Monopoly to Multi-Utility", underlines the fundamental changes the gas industry is facing.
