Great international interest for 15th Geofluid/A regular visitor to Geofluid over the past few years, GeoDrilling's Editor Alan Kennedy outlines what to expect at this year's show

THE 15th event in the Geofluid series takes place next month from October 6 to 9 at the Exhibition Centre in Piacenza, Italy, and is widely recognised as Europe's foremost international exhibition related to the drilling industry. Thanks to its highly focused content, Geofluid has become a not-to-miss biennial event for the international drilling, geotechnical, engineering geology and environmental monitoring sectors. For the 2004 event, Geofluid will include product sectors such as: Geotech (geotechnical surveying, deep foundations and directional drilling/No-Dig rigs and equipment), Geocontrol (instrumentation and equipment for environmental analysis, monitoring and land reclamation) and Geotunnel (tunnelling machines, equipment and instrumentation). The previous Geofluid show in 2002 had 316 exhibiting companies and 9,068 visitors including 1,114 international delegates from 58 different countries.
