The team of judges who took on the challenge of selecting the category winners in the 2010 Snowden photography competition were certainly faced with a task of large open pit proportions. Richard Woldendorp, world renowned Australian landscape photographer, has been a key decision maker in the competition having been involved since it's inception in 2005. During this time, he has commented on seeing a significant increase in the quality of the photographs submitted and provided invaluable guidance in selecting the best photographs to celebrate the mining industry.
