Anglo posts higher phosphate production numbers

Anglo American reported its final yearly production figures this week, though the company did not include phosphate output for the fourth quarter. This data will be covered by China Molybdenum, following the latter's takeover of Anglo's phosphate operations on September 30, 2016. Anglo American's January to September phosphate fertilizer production was 864,300 mt compared with 1.1 million mt in the full year 2015. In Q4 2015, production was 303,400 mt. Production for the first nine months of 2016 therefore increased by 56,900 mt year on year.
