BOC officially opened its state-of-the-art acetylene production facility in Immingham, Lincolnshire in October, a ￡35m investment to provide UK and Ireland manufacturing industries with a secure source of acetylene for many years to come. During the past three years BOC (part of The Linde Group) has continued to strengthen its acetylene supply capability with significant investments in production capacity, supply infrastructure and cylinder assets-such is the demand for this unparalleled fuel gas.
