摘要

A new concept for combustion of fuels without the emission of CO_2 and steam into the atmosphere is examined. This technology can be implemented in conventional boiler plants by feeding CO_2 from the flue gases with the addition of oxygen. The large-scale recovery of carbonic acid which thus becomes possible expands the boundaries of its utilization in both traditional and, in particular, in new technologies substantially. Power generting plants featuring this new technology are more cost-efficient and more ecologically acceptable than nuclear power plants.
