Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) are rare tumors (2%-3% of primary neoplasms). Apart from the tonsil, the GI tract is the most common site of extranodal lymphoma. However, primary malignant lymphoma of the GI tract is rare, accounting for about 1% to 4% of all GI malignancies. The colorectum is less frequently involved than either the stomach or the small intestine.
