KBR Wins Contract for ‘1st World-Scale Ammonia Plant in U.S. in 25 Years’

Houston-based KBR announced September 10 that it won a licensing, engineering services and equipment contract from Egypt-based Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) subsidiary Iowa Fertilizer Company for what’s described as the “first world-scale ammonia plant built in the United States in nearly 25 years.”
