Wuhan Kaidi Wins World Intellectual Property Organization FT Diesel Patent

The World Intellectual Property Organization announced May 30 that China-based Wuhan Kaidi won a patent for a Fischer-Tropsch diesel synthesis technology. The patent is titled “Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis Cobalt Nano-Catalyst based on Porous Material Confinement and Preparation.” According to the patent authors, “the catalyst of the present invention uses organogel as a template and is prepared by means of a sol-gel method; metal components are used as the core and the porous material is used as the shell.
