Tratos Cavi SpA has been awarded the contract to supply DP World with Tratosflex ESDB reeling cables for installation in the cranes at the Jebel AN port in Dubai. The port is in the process of electrifying its existing diesel-driven RTG cranes as a means of significantly reducing energy costs and CO_2 emissions. As part of this process, Tratosflex ESDB cables will be fitted to the newly electrified cranes.
