Dow adds new styrenics

Dow has introduced two new styrenic products for the automotive sector.Magnum Brace is a long glass fibre reinforced ABS targeted as an alternative to long glass fibre reinforced polypropylene.It is pitched at applications outside the engine compartment,as ABS has lower chemical resistance than PP.Impaxx styrenic foam is claimed to provide the performance of PP and PUR at reduced weight.
