We thank Vargas and Hricak for their encouraging editorial [1] discussing our paper on the Standards for Reporting of MRI-Targeted Biopsies (START) [2]. We welcome their comments about the precision and clarity of the consensus report and their opinion that use of the START checklist will be an important step forward in defining the role of magnetic resonance imaging (MR1) in the diagnosis of clinically significant prostate cancer.
