The European market for hose is still growing, despite a general slow-down in the automotive sector. While the business has restructured over the last few years, only some of the manufacturing capacity has moved to low-cost countries, as suppliers keep their logistics chains short, and retain specialised, skilled workers in niche markets such as oil and gas.
