ContiTech adds printing blanket manufacturer

CONTITECH AG has turned its printing blanket business into the third ranked supplier globally through its recent purchase of Phoenix Xtra Print GmbH of Walter-shausen,Germany.ContiTech did not reveal any financial details of the deal.The unit which Conti is buying was previously Phoenix AG's printing blanket operation,sold as non-core business by the now-defunct Phoenix group through a management buyout in 2001.
