A new range of high-performance thermoplastic elastomers launched by Dow Corning company multibase has the potential to replace thermoset rubbers,including nitrile and hydrogenated nitrile,in automotive uses such as under-the-bonnet seals,gaskets and hoses-according to developer Dow Corning.
