SKF sets up new global aerospace unit

Five high technology businessunits have been combined to form the SKF Aerospace unit, focussed on supplying parts to the demanding air technology sector, sadi a statement from thenew organisation. The units, employing a total of over 2000 people, are SARMA of Saint-Callier Cedex in France; AMPEP of Avon in the UK;MRC Bearings of Jamestown, New York; SKF Avio of Villa Perosi, Italy; and Chicago Rawhide Americas, of Elgin, Illinois.
