BASF Coatings starts up new production site in Russia

BASF Coating has started up its new production site for paints in Russia. The facility at Pavlovskij Posad, 60 kilometres east of Moscow, has an annual production capacity of 6,000 tonnes of solvent borne basecoats and clearcoats. With growing demand, the production line can be expanded to up to 30,000 tonnes. "A changeover to water borne basecoats can be implemented at any time," Juan Ximenez-Carillo.
