摘要

The influence of the soil conditions and anthropogenic effects on the formation of root systems in meadow agrocenoses of southern Karelia was studied. It was shown that the development and vertical structure of the underground organs depend on the degree of soil cultivation. Most roots (39.0 to 87.0%) are concentrated in the sod at the depth of 0 to 6 cm. The root architectonics in young agrocenoses depend mostly on the degree of soil cultivation and the rates of the applied fertilizers. The botanical composition of phytocenoses affects the vertical distribution of roots in the layers of 6-15 and 15-30 cm in old herb cenoses.Notes Translated from Pochvovedenie (2012) 8, 875-878 (Ru).
