Soil Cover Pattern and Geosystems of the Berezinskii Biosphere Reserve

A map of geosystems of the Berezinskii Biospheric Reserve was compiled as a result of analysis of the soil cover pattern, a map of plant cover, and a topographic map. The main mapping units are geosystems of watersheds, depressions, and floodplains; mosaic combinations of watersheds and depressions (interfaces) are also distinguished on the map. A close correlation between soils and forest types in the reserve is revealed. The regular arrangement of biogeocenoses in geosystems is determined by external factors and identified by soil associations.
