摘要

The chantes in chemical,physicochemical,and physical properties of pyrogenic formations resulting from the burning of previously drained peat soils and the distribution of natural plant species on their surface are considered.Under the influence of precipitation and floodwater alkaline-earth metals are leached;pH values becomes lower;carbon,iron and manganese accumulate in the upper burnt layers.The surface horizons of pyrogenic bodies are sticky,and the burnt peat horizons have a low swelling capacity.In five or six years after the fire,stablel plant associations with dominant species are formed on the surface of all pyrogenic formations.The fire,stable plant associations with dominant species are formed on the surface of all pyrogenic formations.The possibility of growing crops on them is doubtful because of their low fertility and asecondary swamping.
